Information We Collect

We only collect data that is necessary to deliver and improve our features, separated into two categories:

• Information you voluntarily provide: All data you input into the app including (but not limited to) nail polish catalog entries (name, brand, shade code, purchase source, custom HSL color adjustments, texture tags, seasonal categorizations, durability star ratings and personal notes), manicure diary entries (polish combination records, manicure result photos, calendar timestamps), and custom collections you create.
• Optional anonymous usage data: If you opt in to anonymous analytics, we collect non-identifiable data about feature usage (such as which pre-designed color templates you use most often, filter preferences, and HSL tool usage patterns) to help us improve our product experience. This data is never linked to your personal identity.

We never access your device photo library beyond the specific images you choose to upload to your catalog or diary.

How We Use Your Information

• To deliver core product functionality: storing and organizing your nail polish collection, syncing your data across your devices (if you enable optional cloud sync), displaying your manicure diary calendar, and powering search/filter features.
• To personalize your experience: suggesting relevant seasonal color templates based on your collection preferences, and optimizing the 3D bottle visualization and animation performance for your device.
• To resolve technical issues: if you contact us for support, we may use diagnostic data related to your app installation to troubleshoot bugs or performance problems.
• To improve our services: anonymous usage data helps us prioritize feature updates, refine our pre-designed color templates, and enhance the glassmorphism UI experience for all users.

Data Storage & Sync

By default, all your personal collection and diary data is stored locally on your device only, and never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable optional cloud backup and sync functionality.

If you choose to enable cloud sync, your data is encrypted end-to-end during transmission and storage. We cannot access the content of your collection, photos, or diary entries, as encryption keys are stored only on your personal devices.

You can disable cloud sync and delete all cloud-stored copies of your data at any time directly from the app settings.

Information Sharing & Disclosure

We will never sell, rent, or license your personal data to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes under any circumstances.

We may only disclose your information if required to do so by applicable legal obligations, or if we have your explicit written consent to share specific data.

Your Rights & Controls

• Access and export: You can export your entire collection and diary data in JSON or CSV format directly from the app settings at any time.
• Delete data: You can erase individual entries, clear your entire collection, or delete all your app data (local and cloud) permanently at any time.
• Opt out of analytics: You can toggle anonymous usage analytics on or off at any time in the app settings.
• Request support: You can contact us at any time to resolve questions or concerns related to your data.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including AES-256 encryption for all cloud-stored data, secure transmission protocols, and regular security audits of our systems.

Note that no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we continuously update our protections to mitigate risks.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes to our practices or product features. We will notify you of any material changes via in-app notification at least 30 days before the new policy takes effect. Your continued use of the Fryzz app after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
